The software on the Pro are mainly viewers. Unlike the netBook that comes with working spreadsheet and Word software the Pro does not! The way I use my netBook is as a notebook replacement. All tools that I have build have been created with the netBook in mind so I would be able to run on it. My Financial Analysis tool is large but works like a charm after converted with PsiWin on the original netBook. Since I have to input data to run the Analysis the viewers that come on the Pro are useless. From http://www.byedesign.freeserve.co.uk/ I downloaded SpreadCE that allows you to have a working Spreadsheet on the Pro. Download this version: http://www.byedesign.free-online.co.uk/sce/sprenten.zip . This does work on the Pro. Unfortunately it is not capable of opening my analysis tool (an almost 1.7 Mb Excel file). I tested over an over again. The machine hangs after about 2 minutes and 43 seconds. The error msg is: Insufficient Memory and suggest to close other software to free up memory. In all test situations there was no other software running!

I have to admit the screen is beautiful, and displaying PowerPoint presentations on the Pro is absolutely beautiful.

I have tested: (TomTom)Route Planner Millennium, Route Planner (Latest Version) and Streets & Trips USA 2003 (MS) that comes with a CE version.
